Milt also served his country for two years in the Army Reserve, where he was part of the 563rd Artillery in Kewaunee and worked as a combat engineer with the 275th Engineer Company in Ludwigsburg, Germany. His formal education includes the Farm Short Course at UW Madison and Farm Management studies at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of both the practical and business aspects of farming.
